You're In the Top 7, Tony!

Anthony Brunelli was recently named one of the top seven prominent photorealists in the world today by The Collector online magazine!

One of Anthony’s paintings highlighted in the article.

The article states that he has established himself as one of the “leading photorealists of the current era” and went on to highlight his origins in Binghamton, New York, as well as some of his national and international scenes that he is now known for.

No surprise here that you were named, Tony! Your life’s work only continues to astound and evolve, and we all at ABFA are so happy to bear witness to your continued successes.

I am so totally This Podcast Will Change Your Life today, tomorrow, forever, though especially this month, because it is has been a year full of great episodes and I'm closing it out with one really big episode that will stand-in for the whole month as we gear-up for 2020. This is not just any episode though, not that I don't love them all equally. But this episode stars old friend, high school classmate and international photorealist art star Tony Brunelli in a really moving episode where we talk not only high school, his terribly impressive art career, and so many things on my mind these days, midlife, being present, making art and sappiness, which is the least of it, but also Chuck Close, and all of that, fear, midlife, the lack of guidebooks, yoga, meditation, being present, American Real, making connections, seeking advice and knowledge, and the idea that we can't do anything alone, anxiety, detachment, feeling like a human being, love, my father Michael Tanzer, his life, work, influence, a first on the podcast, and wonderful, and much, much more. So, please do this very special This Podcast Will Change Your Life, and please know that it will most definitely do that as it has mine.

By age three, we had moved to my parents’ hometown of Binghamton, NY, and I had started throwing myself down the stairs. Why? This is a question to which I can honestly say, I have no answer.
